FAQ

What do I need to bring with my dog at drop-off?

  • We ask owners to provide the food your pet is used to eating at home. (We do keep high quality “House Food” in case any pet runs out of food while in our care.) Treats are also welcome, and recommended!

  • You are welcome to bring a blanket, small/medium plush beds, toys, chew bones (no rawhide, please). We have plenty of bedding if not provided, we will make sure your pet is comfortable!

  • If your dog eats out of a slow-feeder maze bowl at home, please provide special bowl.

  • If vaccine records are not uploaded online or emailed prior, please bring a physical copy of your pets’ vaccination records.

  • Any medications and/or supplements your pet takes both regularly or as needed.

What should I NOT bring with my dog at drop-off?

  • Large/XL plush beds and crates

  • Regular food/water bowls (we provide metal bowls of various sizes)

  • Rawhide bones and rope toys will not be given to dogs while in our care. Please keep at home, or we will safely keep it in your pets’ bin.

Do you offer daycare?

  • Our facility is not set up for group play. All dogs have their own private, spacious run inside. Yard time for play/potty breaks are typically alone by family. That being said, if a day-stay is needed for your pet for any reason, we can accommodate. We know things come up that require your pet to be out of the house - such as carpets being cleaned, work being done at home, guests visiting, etc. We are here to help!

How can I check on my pet during their stay?

  • We love to keep our families connected and in the loop. Upon request, we can send an update on your pet including photos/videos during their stay with us.

Can I come tour the facility?

  • Yes! Our business hours are by appointment only, so we ask that you call first and schedule a time to come check out our facility. Thank you for understanding we will not take you through the main kennel area to maintain a peaceful environment for our lodgers!

I’ve tried calling, but only get voicemail! How else can I reach you?

  • Please understand we are a small facility; therefore, we typically only have one employee on staff per shift. Our number one priority is always the care of our lodgers in house! We promise to return all voicemails within 24 hours.

What vaccines are required to board?

  • Dogs must be current on 3 vaccines: Rabies, Distemper/Combo (commonly called DHPP/DHLPP), and Bordetella.

  • We do accept titer testing. Must provide paperwork of the titer blood test, and fill out vaccine waiver.

  • Cats must be current on 2 vaccines: Rabies and FVRVP.

Does my pet have to be spayed/neutered to board?

  • No! We do accept unaltered pets; they just will not have the chance to play with other dogs if not fixed over 6 months of age. We do encourage getting your pet fixed to avoid any unwanted health or behavior issues!
